Teachers

School pupil researching in the libraryASPIRENorth provides a range of activities aimed at widening access to post-school education for pupils in selected schools in the north of Scotland.

These activities are held for S3-S6 pupils within schools or on college/university campuses. They are designed to familiarise pupils with the life of a college or university student through interactive talks, workshops, lectures and tours.  The activities also aim to build positive perceptions of post-school education amongst pupils.

By becoming better informed about post-school education opportunities, and the benefits of a university and college education, we hope pupils will consider higher education as a realistic option for them.

As a member of school staff involved in ASPIRENorth activity, your role is vital. The success of the ASPIRENorth Programme is based upon the co-operation and contribution of staff working in schools.
