Partners

Pupils working together ASPIRENorth can only work effectively through partnership. All the partners of the previous North Forum are automatically partners in ASPIRENorth. Our primary aim is to raise awareness and aspirations within our target schools with regard to post-school education - but another key aim is to act as a catalyst in bringing together the our partners within this common cause. As most people would agree, the whole partnership working together is likely to have much more impact than the sum of its parts working alone.
Whilst the ASPIRENorth team is responsible for the operational management and delivery of the ASPIRENorth programme , the impact this has on the young people involved is significantly enhanced by the active support of all our partners. Naturally each category of partner is likely to want to contribute in their own particular way, and this includes our colleagues in the university sector, the college sector, local authorities and education departments, and other individual organisations such as Skills Development Scotland.
