Life beyond school can be a daunting prospect for parents as well as pupils.  Parents play an essential role in helping and encouraging their children to make the appropriate choices for study, work and the future.  However, with so many options available to young people, it can often be difficult for parents to know how to best advise their children. 

The good news is that there is plenty of help and advice for both you and your children.  We hope that this website, combined with our activities will help you make sense of the various options available to your son or daughter and give you the confidence to advise them effectively.   

ASPIRENorth offers activities for S3 to S6 pupils. As a parent or guardian this is what you can expect from us:

• We will consult with parents, carers and guardians throughout the       ASPIRENorth programme
• We will provide an expert workshop for all parents, carers and guardians on the realities of funding student life
