Paula Euington
Administrative Secretary

Paula was born in Hanover, Germany and moved around a lot, following her father who was in the Army.  She settled in Scotland in 1994 where she finished her secondary school education at Milne’s High School, Fochabers.  Keen to pursue a career in management Paula started her university career at Napier University in Edinburgh before moving up to Aberdeen where she finished her Management Studies degree in Aberdeen University graduating in 2003.  Following graduation Paula worked in several management posts over the years before moving work in administrative roles.

She joined ASPIRENorth to cover for Kelly while she works as Acting Regional Coordinator.  Working at ASPIRENorth has shown Paula how enjoyable it is to work in an environment where everyone committed bringing information to young people and encouraging them to look at options they may have previously thought were out of their reach. 

This experience has also made Paula look at her own hopes and dreams, and she has now decided to go travelling and possibly return to University next year and retrain.  Showing that although the decisions we make when we are at school are extremely important, there is always the chance to change your mind and move in a different direction later in life.
