Kelly Waterson

Kelly was born in Aberdeen, then brought up and educated in Montrose.  Her 6 years at Montrose Academy were the best days of her life so far.  Throughout her school years, alongside her studies she immersed herself in extra curricular activities such as sports, fund raising events and participating in national competitions.  Her favorite year was when she helped settle and mentor the 1st year pupils when they moved to the big school!

Kelly feels that learning is important as well as fun and that it can continue after school.  In the not so distant future, she hopes to grasp lifelong learning and add to her foreign language skills by taking on a new language; Arabic.

As the youngest member of the team she has a lot of years ahead and looks forward to spending them with the lively teams in Inverness and Aberdeen.  It is rewarding for her, to know that she is part of the process that can inspire and motivate young people to continue their education and achieve their goals.
